As teachers play a central role in education, preparing them to their careers is conceived as being a higher priority in any country and that can be done by offering a teaching diploma (TD) to teachers. This study was done by me and two of my friends to investigate the effects of teaching diplomas on students’ academic performance and achievement. This study followed a quantitative approach based on questionnaire results where the questionnaire was distributed to teachers holding TD and teachers who are not. Findings indicate that teachers holding TD encounter less issues in their classrooms than teachers without TD and then their students’ achievement increases. The results of this study are compatible with similar researches done by other researchers mentioned in the introduction of this study. The conclusion of the study showed that Students of teachers holding TD show more improvement than those of teachers who are not holding TD, same for expectations about students academic performance, usage of different learning styles. And this shows the importance of teaching diploma for both, teachers and students, to improve their performance and academic achievement.

So it shows that the teachers who hold Td don’t face big problems with their students concerning the classroom management, unlike the teachers who don’t hold TD. However, Teachers who don’t hold TD don’t have high expectations about their students’ academic achievement, their learning environment isn’t student centered and there is no good relationship with their students.
In conclusion, the survey showed that teachers who hold TD their students showed improvement which means that teachers who hold TD affects their students achievement. | Students of teachers holding TD show more improvement than those of teachers who are not holding TD, same for expectations about students academic performance, usage of different learning styles. H1 was approved.
