Personal Communication

Personal communication is usually an informal assessment that I can use it to find out what students have learned and understood through interacting with them orally, or interviewing them. So instead of doing a written assessment every day to know what students learned the day before through a written assessment , I can use the personal communication and I can have almost the same results. Of course to use this method of assessing I should first determine the target I want to assess because this method is better to be used to assess the reasoning target, so for example, after explaining the lesson of the green plant to grade two students and what does a green plant need to grow up, I can show the student a picture of a plant deprived from sunlight, and then I can ask him orally to tell me what will happen to this plant and why, and then I can see if I reach the reasoning target that I want and expect from my students.
